Correlation between those who are cut and those who WFH?

Someone has already asked this question, but I think the correlation is clear. You?

I am sorry, but I don't believe it. I think it can be the case once the employer reinstates the mandatory return to the office. For example, if they tell you that starting on Month X you have to come at least 3 days, I imagine they will set up a counter to monitor the time you clock your badge in and out.

There is now a much higher correlation between those who WFH and those who will be laid off. Zuck said so himself.

@gnb+1lFir9Q8 no. All the instances I know of are techie-types who've been there since the early days and who, recently, moved away and decided that they want to WFH full time.

I know of several cases at Netapp that certainly add to the correlation: mostly seniors (>20 years of service), "working" remotely most of the time.

If you are referring to some old EMC bro managers who found their way into NetApp -> these are sensible layoffs.

Sure, anecdotes don't make data ... but there are a lot of anecdotes. YMMV.

None of those who were cut worked from home? Is that the case?
