Many projects were deprioritized and without those projects layoffs were inevitable.
Only Enterprise IT is affected so far. Notice given today and employees can stay until early April if they choose. Some contractor positions affected as well.

It's typically 2 weeks for year of service with a minimum of 8 weeks. Additionally the balance of PTO is paid in full. AmFam has a large number of long term employees with 10, 15, 20 years of service, so in some cases severances can be 6 months or more.
Any insight on what laid off employees are being offered for severance?
