I worked with two managers and a couple of directors at Infra DC who were working from home and let me tell you: I’ve never seen easy riders like these ones, totally disconnected, but raising eyebrows and highjacking conf calls to desperately project relevancy. I am glad I am out, was going nowhere where I was

Anyone consider the correlation between folks getting laid off and folks WFH?

These layoffs are nothing more than the corporate overlords saying: "Oh, so you want to keep WFH doya? OK. WFH ... for evah!"

Yes, if you are "working from home" you no longer look like a team player. Those days at FB (no accountability, no consequences) are long gone. Time to think of FB as a work experience just like IBM.

I'm in the third+ shoal offices in austin which are full, but there's no one left working from home to fill the new high rise with. it was the largest lease ever signed in the city's history but we're expecting cuts and making matters worse, they can't find anybody to sublease the unused space.
