Ask the management

Someone mentioned ask the management. And rightly so. Many of the topics discussed here should go to an internal forum such as the defunct ask the management. Why was it closed? It wasn’t perfect but it had many great things that are lacking with the current approach. Candid, real-time, constructive, anonymous feedback on many things. Bjorn would send a very positive signal if he decides to reestablish that much needed internal forum. Imagine if employees had the opportunity to raise questions or flag things they didn’t feel confortable putting out there publicly in the last years….

Ask the Management was pure entertainment in the end. It was everyones guilty pleasure to check what random complaints were posted there on a daily basis.
You could ask anything you wanted and it got published. So in the end people complained about cutlery in Stripes, about the vegan currywurst or that too many people parked wrong in the parkhouse. In the beginning you could even comment anonymously which was really entertaining and not fruitful at all (although they changed the comment section at some point so that you had to post with your name). All in all the Townhall Q&A or the open Q&As are better structured than the ATM back then as only real business questions are adressed.

it‘s not the same, but he‘s clearly started a different trend with his open Q&A at and ahead of every townhall…. and today‘s GOPS townhall had the same thing…. Some people ask with their name..and some anonymous…

Some of the questions were desperately needed…and they got asked!

not saying that the answer was satisfactory, but I see this as a positive step in the right direction.
