Vote for the biggest loser. JM Studio branding fiasco or NC/McKinsey strategy goat rodeo? Neither delivered an ounce of business value and resulted in smart engineers being laid off.

NC is my vote. They had a role open in strategy for over 12 months and told applicants that they were looking for a particular person from McK to fill it. Now that role has disappeared. I guess they missed out on getting good talent internally.
NC/McK for sure. They not only draw big $$$ but tying up resources and affecting products and people's lives with their non-strategy.
Looks like NC and his McKinsey buddies (can you say conflict of interest!) are off to an early lead for Biggest Loser. Voting ends Friday then we will schedule a company wide town hall to hand out the award.
McK prey on the insecurities of executives who don’t know what to do, e.g; SM and NC. We do have a few pitch decks and hundreds of slides, gazillion work streams and thousands of people hours thrown away. This is what $30M gets you compared to say investing in 170 plus engineers for that money.
McKinsey has a track record of milking all departments to make a buck. The ELT cleans up while the company fails!
McKinsey and NC. Worthless. At least the branding work helped us look more modern even though we still ooze Legacy, Old, and Conservative
Biggest waste McK $30M, NC, HA, SM, JW, SB, KCC…. And the whole board of directors
Please include HA as part of this targeted RIF round
NC/McKinsey for sure. We are still wasting money on this "strategy team" and all the meaningless work streams. If we fired them all tomorrow what work would stop? Would anyone even notice? Would a customer or salesperson even know or care?
