Thanks for coming to all the union meetings brothers and letting your voices be heard on the local radio call in stations in Omaha. We have made our voice heard and North Platte will never feel undervalued again. We have a representative at the top. Layoffs are a thing of the past for North Platte. The #1 safest and most productive service unit on the UP system has made its mark and influenced the other class one railroads as they also repair their safety image. I've even been told they're potentially sending some Norfolk Southern guys to North Platte to learn about safety in the wake of major derailments.
