When working in Micron, it will be like sitting on the Thorn feeling...you will never know when you will be axed. They will not give you time to think. Immediately have to leave the moment you get notified. High performance also not important. They choose you depends on the likes/dislikes only.

I believe volunteers gets severance package.
Yes there is no retirement package.
No volunteers aloud for Micron layoffs. I was told by source who is a V+ level. If you tell your manager you want to leave and you want a package, you will told to just resign in Workday. I heard the guideline is very strict. No volunteers and no package for retirements.
Tell your direct leader I'm sure they will be more then happy to have a volunteer. And you would be stupid to leave without a Severance package.
Please leave
