Remember when Microsoft 98 crashed during a major presentation with Bill Gates there? It took a long while for the company to recover from the embarrassment. You'd think tech companies would have learned from that example and made sure they were ready to present their products, but nope. We have Windows 98 2.0 in Google's Bard. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.

Actually, it is a blessing in disguise. Nobody would be talking about Bard, had it not flunked. They perhaps are marketing strategy these days, to show their vulnerability and paint a Rocky story. Or it could be a genuine reaction like an insecure colleague try in vain to show off when someone else in the team come up with an impressive solution.
