Thread regarding Pioneer Natural Resources Co. layoffs

2 weeks notice

When is the best time to give 2 weeks notice? I don’t want to miss out on bonus. When the bonus payment date is announced would I be fine scheduling the last day at Pioneer after that point? Or should I wait to say anything until after money has hit the bank account? I’m assuming the latter but don’t want to wait that long if I don’t have to. Thanks.

For security purposes they’ll ask you to go ahead and go.

It is not the underperforming which are leaving…

The only way for the MC to retain the little talent left to save the company is 100% bonuses. But that will never happen so the company’s days are numbered. Management got greedy and arrogant, but perhaps that’s the goal.

Two weeks? Give them one day.

@gql+1l7WMeid I expect there to be significantly less turnover than last year. There are opportunities but the market is softer. People might talk of leaving but few will move forward with those plans.

A lot of people leaving after bonus. All are tired and overworked. Topped with lack of lack of promotions and opportunities.

Wait until it hits your account. From what I’ve seen, we don’t like people lingering around for two weeks once they’ve given notice. Wonder how many of us are about to do the same?
