I believe they spread out the layoffs in order to avoid state trouble. If you don’t mind worrying every year, whether you’ll have a job, if your boss will lead vs manage, or if you’ll be valued… go work for Optum. If strategy, great leadership, or feeling valued is at all important, just don’t. Businesses do lay-offs, we all get that - but how they do it is extremely unethical.

This was the most criminal company I ever worked for. They are underhanded, talk out of both sides of their mouths. Yes they need to be sued.
Lots of luck trying to find a lawyer to file the suit. None of the Esq want to take on the Mafia of healthcare.

All these jobs are moving to Puerto Rico. Leadership was down there this past week discussing the upcoming changes.

Employees remain an expense. Bottom line. And nothing will ever change that.
100%, & little care for the opinions or feedback from leaders that have to cut 1/2 an org. All are expendable across all business and tech.
