Microsoft is not slowing down with layoffs, it seems. GitHub is the latest victim with ten percent of employees (that's anywhere between 300 and 400 if I'm not mistaken). That's a small number compared to the tens of thousands we've been hearing about lately from different companies, but not insignificant.

For github they're closing down their san francisco headquarters for full remote work.
It's not just GitHub. There were more layoffs in several areas yesterday.
