10% cut already in my team, my manager informed me in 1:1 today there will be more than 10% next round
I think you will see more attrition once the layoffs are complete (this round?).
Why would someone leave on their own if there was a chance of getting a severance package? Now with the increase workload associated with peers no longer being there, I see more people leaving on their own accord.

Please allow voluntary severance. There are people who can rescue those who needs to stay

We will never know the actual numbers and from where. 10 percent is the beginning and much more to come. I’m not trying to scare anyone but we are in a serious down turn. Not just in semi conductors.
I’m going to take a hard guess that it’s more like 8 percent and more aggressive layoffs coming by end of year.
That's what they said but they are not seeing much from the natural attrition hence they'll cut more to meet the 10%
But isn't it supposed to be roughly 5% ? the other 5% through attrition over the fiscal year
