Did your manager say something to you? Was there an email I missed? I want to be able to relax after stressing for weeks but it seems more like hopeful thinking than concrete info when people talk about layoffs being done (at least for now). Please let me know if there is a factual background to claims that layoffs are done for now.

Purely a guesstimate...
I would expect the next round (3-6 months) of cost savings will be requesting everyone to take a pay cut (10% is my guess).
If we are still in a down cycle 9 months out, then I could see a 2nd round of layoffs.
My supervisor told me that our cuts are done, but this isn't the end of it. Micron has misled all of us by saying that they would be done with layoffs by end of February. Just like they misled us at one point saying they would not require the death jab.
Sjay should take one for his company employees and cut his pay a bit more.
Also agree the DEI team should be the first to go along with half the useless HR. Completely useless busy work.
My manager told me more cuts are coming very soon, more than "10%" this time in my team, across all orgs in F4, especially for engineers ... Upper management is full of liars and cowards.

Manager said cuts are done for are team but no guarantees about what may happen in the future as the downturn is really bad. So bad they cut high level engineers, managers, and directors
all of these confirmations are only for this round, I doubt it means you are safe for the remainder of the year
