I heard about some announcements yesterday
All this nonsense about needing to be on site to collaborate and work effectively is boomer talk.
Our culture this and culture that is BS. This is the way tech has allowed our work styles to evolve. The “culture” needs to evolve with it. Regardless if I’m WFH or in office, I’m still gonna collaborate with people over teams. These boomer ideology needs to change. Learn to adapt. Not everyone needs to be on-site 4 days to do their jobs. Heck, we’ve been doing it successfully for over 2 years and have the data to show for it.
Stop sniveling and go back to work!
BAHAHAHA!!! Vacation over. Back to work! Some of you are in for a rude awakening…. Enjoy your hour long commutes in stop and go traffic! or worse, one accident and it’s easily more. Buying high priced California gas or soon mileage tax for your electric save the planet machines. Back to the morning hustle! Go go go go!! Push push push all the way down the line!
@1ajj+1l6B7TtY around 100 years ago people used to ride donkeys and it was normal, are you riding a donkey now?
Leave ? Where to? Someone's hiring? I'm all ears!
What is wrong in getting called to come to office 4 days a week? Was that not a normal thing 2 years ago?
CEO wants to do layoff without paying severance so here it goes.
LMAO, @vjx+1l6B7TtY
Good luck getting same pay elsewhere in this market.
Our unique culture is we have too many chindus who screwed up productivity as well as honest creativity
Not leaving, but not coming in 4 days a week either.
That’s how you become CEO
The blow back from our team is massive this is just a play to get cheep layoffs with out having to pay out and get the bad PR. Lost all respect for Qualcomm sr manger's/leadership. I and others are planning on looking elsewhere for work if this goes ahead.
Can someone explain our unique culture that needs to be preserved?
