Since I work from home wife and son will be listening to the call tomorrow. It will be experience to them since they have never worked for corporate America to stay away from corporate bs. I told him to try as hard as possible to work for yourself. Hard work almost never pays off unless is for you.

Be sure to record it as well. And don't be afraid to tell them they are dyk heads
You WFH and you haven't figured out a way to have scheduled business calls in private?
that sounds abusive and self-serving. best wishes to your family.
What's the point, are you after sympathy from them? Why put your kid through this b.s. If you've not worked out that, life in a big corporate, means there is a Sword of Damocles hanging over your head from day 1, then take up baking or something
They will ask if anyone is listening so I'd go to your office and shut the door. It was the first thing they asked me Tuesday afternoon
I think these calls are supposed to be confidential so you might get fired if Dell finds out
Don't do that friend. Go in the WC if you need to. Take your chomps yourself and talk about it later like a proper Da. I wish you well as I went though this in 2020 with Dell.
idk, i disagree but to each their own. ive never had bad experiences working in corporate companies (fortune 500 ones) - AMD, Intel, Dell, because the benefits, and room to grow far outweighs the extra money smaller companies may offer. IMO anyways. I mean sure, in a company as huge as Dell is, you really are just an expendable employee, especially if you are an IC but, they have the money to pay for outside education like college, certifications, etc.. that smaller companies dont. As an example, i had a 10k cert course paid in full by Dell that almost no small company would shell out for.
On the flip side, smaller companies DO value you more
It’s a great idea. My family trusty interpretation but my children are just starting professional careers it’s good the understand to look after themselves
Dude, that is brutal! I love it! Bring the pain to the entire family!
Your kid will be telling his therapist about this a few years from now
I listened in on my husbands 1x1 on Monday. Heartbreaking. Scripted. No feeling. I agree with your assessment as well.
That’s sh---y to experience. I guess that’s life.
