They don't prosecute shoplifters in Texas. Or at least they don't in Dallas city, where Dallas-Fort Worth's largest, and likely to be last, BB&B (82) is located.
High tax states
Maybe they prefer states that prosecute shoplifters and are not overrun with homeless people and addicts?
Why do they keep closing so many stores primarily in blue states? Why so much NY/CA/NJ vs TX/FL. Legitimate question! Does the company prefer locations in areas that want to stay in the 1950s?
