Email, 1:1 with manager/HR,card access cut when I get on site? Any idea how it goes? I don't wanna get up and drive on site if I'm getting laid off that day

For sg, u are able to tap in, but manager will approach u to meet hr in room(bunch of people who get laid will be gathered here). Then hr will announce the procedure, u will be ask to pack ur item within a very short time. Rmb to redeem bravo Points peeps.
The layoffs FAQ said something about affected roles being informed by their supervisor and a HR rep, so it sounds like you might get through the gate before your boss pulls you into a nondescript meeting. That is how the 2016 layoffs played out anyway. Seems like many other companies in the news for doing layoffs just cut the employee access off and sent an email. Sanjay loves following the trends of silicon valley and probably hired the same consultants the other companies in the valley brought in to plan their layoffs, so maybe check your email before driving into the office?
