Almost all of the former product marketing team was let go. Including a VP who has been with the company for nearly a decade.
Any word on what severance packages are looking like now?
The product and learning technology teams impacted yesterday were formerly Product and Strategy, not Curriculum Development. My understanding is that they underwent a reorg during the layoffs

My understanding is Product and Learning Technology teams were impacted, which aligns with the company's new platform strategy with the goal of reducing redundancies across EdX/2U roles. 😞

I checked and didn’t find any 15 min meetings on calendars of VPs/SVPs. So I think these posts might be BS?
There’s one way to find out which team if this is legit - go to the org chart find all VPs / SVPs and see if they had back to back meetings this morning.
