Yes, at first I was relieved and happy. Then I remembered how much I dislike my manager and how much extra work I'll have to do now that we've lost two teammates, and suddenly layoffs seemed like the better option. I'm not trying to make light of people losing their jobs, but be honest, is it a win these days to be able to say you still work at GP?

GP is a fortune 500 company that is still relatively undervalued.
That being said if you are disappointed you weren't laid off and you hate your manager, maybe look at a different role or search for another company instead. You're not doing yourself any favors by staying.
