Announcements in Jan claimed that approx 10% of the workforce or 8000 people would be impacted by the layoffs. I’m hearing that the ‘all-Salesforce’ slack channel has reduced by less than half that amount since Jan. So are we only half way through the cuts? Is there more to come?

It depends on your territory. Here, Core was barely touched and product & co-prime were hit instead.
My guess is product orgs (mulesoft, slack, tableau) and the Co-prime orgs are targets next. Most of the cuts appear to be core salesforce roles but its widely known that org chains will be merged among the redundant product sales teams since the acquisitions were never integrated years ago.
I am still on the Slack channel but a dead person walking in SF. 'At Risk' - consultation periods in the UK, but we know what that means.
i assume u come here for the truth and not corporate bull sh-t. So yes, of course, even if we are done with 8000, there will be smaller cuts that wont be announced later in the year. Look at meta and google.
Also we are driven by investment fund, its cut till we can create a beautiful story to take advantage of the next market bull, so these 3 years is all about cutting costs, hard to hear but u came here for this
Does anyone know the exact number of people impacted since January?
