Does anyone know the exact percentage of the employment work force that was recently let go? According to the government of Canada is it is 10 percent or more employees are entitled to 8 weeks in lieu of notice regardless of how long they have worked for the company.

It was 1100 across GPN and TSYS.
I heard some 900 were laid off
The numbers I've heard or even seen here posted would be far less than 10%.
Global is pretty good on local compliance. I suspect the percentage you spoke of would be based on Canadian citizens percentage.
