I believe hard times are coming for all those working for CVS. You see many companies cutting and laying off workers. CVS is on the chopping block too. CVS is not doing well and they know it, they just are not telling us about what's coming. Trust me, get prepared and put aside as much money as you can, pay your bills up to date and pay off and let go of credit cards you have. Save, save, save and prepare. Get a side job and get ready for CVS to fall.

Well I know a contractor who was just informed today (it seems) that they are not extending his contract and terminating early - his 6 month contract ended a month early. He worked in the Digital area, so don’t know what is going on.
I’m a contractor, as well. Was busy, then one of our internal projects is being slowed down/stop. Think recent acquisition has everything to go with it, as they need to sort out the duplication.
Oh well, if I lose this job I still have my other contracting job. So should be ok for the short term no matter what happens.
OP you are on to something. Yes hours cuts, etc., always happen, but this time feels different. Different like something's going on behind the scenes that corporate's not saying.
I see 100's of software engineers also paid over 150 k with no work at all! crazy company
CVS just purchased Signa Health for 8 billion. That is the reason for the cuts and tightebing of the budgets.
Stfu, there is literally only one question that matters here:
Will any of these layoffs affect that software engineer in Burlington, Massachusetts?
What planet are you on?
More concrete proof preferred my guy
