Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Will Support in ADC, CVAD, and CEM be reduced?

According to Krause’s email headcount in IT, legal, finance, and HR will be heavily reduced while they seem to be investing more in Support. But some are talking about potential layoffs in some support BUs. Support has been stretched thin for a while in BUs like CVAD and ADC. CEM also got picked up again but losing headcount with the separation of ShareFile. Can the company afford to lose support in any of these BUs?

bad news for all the other countries as they will not get the same that they got for many years...

Not meaning it will disappear, but lots of it will be farmed out to the lowest bidder in India, Eastern Europe or wherever. I think we can expect the quality to decline and customers to be more pi---d off.

What an ignorant post. Do you know who will get support after tomorrow? Every customer with a support contract, which is pretty much every customer.

I hope you guys can code okay, or whatever you do. It certainly isn't any job that requires any business sense at all.

Yes, Support will be reduced.... We are no longer a global company... Sales and Support will focus on the best customers in the U.S and Europe... bad news for all the other countries as they will not get the same that they got for many years...

"We can’t afford more cuts." Unfortunately, that's inevitable.

Headcount cuts are an easy way to reduce costs. Krause doesn't seem to care about the consequences. Perhaps he'll change his mind. But I wouldn't count on it.

The will milk the last 1000 shitrix customers too the bone and dump the bodies at the dogfood factory.

No recovery from hitting this iceberg and no more need for expensive Sales, Se's and marketing.
Just a few people for support and renewal in Bangalore.
In short EOL

SH/MP have and will move the majority of roles to BLR. Days are numbered for FTL and other sites.

I agree that many will leave if they cut down support. customers alike. Adc is already feeling the pain after so many left. We can’t afford more cuts. If they do let go of support engineers then I feel really bad for the ones that stay. They will be crushed with workload and will reflect poorly on customers.

There's hardly anything left to lose in ADC. Pretty soon the janitor is going to be taking cases...

@mjo+1kzqQKLo Correct. I’ve heard that MP was telling SH for two years that hiring wasn’t required since he personally believed that India was overstaffed despite the metrics read outs and SH blindly followed MP’s advice. Also heard that finance refused to give the funds for headcount. Most likely a mix of multiple things.

If CVAD or Netscaler is reduced or impacted than it will cause more people to leave. Support has had it rough for years. Scott Harris said so early 2022 pre acquisition. “It’s my fault he said!” Well, so was it Monoj and everyone else in the chain and continued to make excuses. So if they touch support that has already been way understaffed, undervalued, not appreciated. People will end up leaving. I do not trust anything. CSG says at this point.
