Credibility? Assigned Nothing, Expected Everything

They stage the whole cycle so they can manufacture nonsense feedback. The entire year I kept asking my manager for a real project because I was under‑utilized and stuck doing basic data analysis. I even reached out to others for work, but he blocked everything and insisted that all assignments had to come “directly from him.” Then in the PA meeting he claimed I “didn’t build credibility.” How exactly was I supposed to do that when he deliberately prevented me from taking on meaningful work?

If ya'll start talking about a collective bargining ( Union) they would treat you a lot differently.
Very surprised that ya'll don't have one.
They can't fire you for trying to organize.
Think about this - firefighters , police and federal employees are typically in a Union.

Ain't nothing wrong with trying to fight for ya'llselves .

My scenario was exact opposite… mgr expected certain people on team to identify own initiatives, which I did but that’s not the point. However, same Mgr gave ALL her pet projects to Bestie who had been pipped that Mgr took in as an accommodation to save. System corrupt as he!!

Of course it’s a setup, how else can they “predict your potential”
