In BDB there is a hiring freeze for the whole Q2. Does this hint to layoffs? Or is it quite common to have hiring freeze? Does it also mean promotion freeze?

Well that explains why my interview was canceled just before I was about to have it. And I was part of the recent layoffs there too. I don’t get it. Some great people work at BD and the corporate greed monster just ruins it all.
One thing is for certain, the President of IDS has certainly proven to be incompetent. She is running this business into the ground.
