Need another 40% layoffs go get rid of the fat and waste

Well it is a start but we need more layoffs and fire another 40%+ to make this company remotely profitable. Most of the departments are people sitting on their fat arses just collecting a check with no ambition or any talent. The entire San Francisco tower is full of dead wood with no redeemable skills. Fire them all. They are just legacy people being kept on by their manager friends. It’s unfortunate it takes a recession to push these kinds of layoffs but this company needed to purge a long time ago and frequently.
Now the deadbeats, cancer masses and clingons are just going to wait for a layoff payday.
Get rid of more useless b-ms from the tower

IRL, this is not how corporations think. If you look at the tech layoff numbers, H1bs were the least affected. It is expensive to lay off an H1B. Cheaper to remove a citizen/GC. Additionally, the company will have issues getting more H1Bs approved. Look at the current H1B approval stats. Meta, google etc still bringing in as many H1Bs as before.

If you are/were a SF employee before layoff, you will know that H1Bs were protected in this round of layoff.

I guess it’s a more deeper than just saying H1Bs should also be fired.

Wow, why do times like this bring out such animosity, rather than empathy and compassion? It’s interesting that it is in the times of adversity that one’s true character comes out. I wonder if any of you get caught in the next waves, will you still be referring to those laid off in such hateful terms?

@OP+1kx1vRoF Hate to break it to you, but that is how things work. Fat, dead wood, waste, and cancer mass will always be there. Be part of, play the system and look out for yourself. We are safe, barely working, making the $$ and a lot of others will not in five months. Which would you rather have for you and your family? Focus on the $$ and care for $$, not for the company.
