Thread regarding Salesforce.com Inc. layoffs

Is it over?

Has everybody who was supposed to be laid off received their emails yesterday or will there be a continuation today and maybe even tomorrow? Also, if there will be more cuts, if my team already lost people does that mean the rest of us are safe, or could we still be in danger?

How can you tell how many slack accounts have been disabled? I’m in Tableau sales so I feel like a riff is coming once Q4 is over. I’m hoping I can stay because I really like my role here.

I don't think it's over.... Something is coming for sales!

They might not need to consult as there is a requirement for it to be over 100 people. We only have a few thousand in the UK, so they could foreseeably lay off 5% without any blockers.

It doesn’t seem like it has happened yet in the UKI as Salesforce still has to consult with local authorities about their layoff plans.

Based in the number of disabled slack accounts, they seem to have culled 5k US roles. If Europe has been covered then we are probably around the 7k mark which is 10%. Anything more will be beyond what Mark suggested.
Do we know if Europe has been hit?
