It speaks volumes about the atmosphere in this company that many actually wish to end up on the layoff list.
It seems that there are more people who would like to be laid off than those who would like to stay here? It's terrible.

Dell culture is absolutely toxic from the top down. Get out whilst you still can mate. Much better to work in a cloud centric company than a legacy HW vendor anyway.
I asked my boss to lay me off a year ago. Still waiting. Maybe this month?
why take the leap when you can get laid off, get a new job and reap the benefits of two paychecks for awhile
Surprised by this response, but also extremely relevant. For the “suck it up” folks in the comments, you may not get it. This isn’t the Dell I’ve spent the last 5+ years at sadly. Cruising LinkedIn and there are SEVERAL opportunities, take the leap if you NEED to.
Dont know how the tech world will evolve into 2023 but we should be doing cloud certs as backup
Dell sux!!! Get over it HR trolls!
If there are cuts I want to go. I don't want to be there picking up the scraps and pieces.
I would rather spend my time looking for a better environment.
Ironically companies realized usually the ones who want to go are the ones they want around. That's why you don't see voluntary
The anxiety just isn't worth it to me. Payday is tomorrow, yet is it my last check? I just finished my "self evaluation" that we are required to do. Hopefully it'll get the ball rolling so that I can move on. Tired of this "pins and needles" feeling.
Always be glad to leave any situation where you are unhappy. You will be better off in the long run.
the morans who say to stay because you cant do better are the ones you should take no advice from on anything
Job market is not going to get any better for a while. The Bond market speaks volume.
Don't be an id--t. Dell is not great but where are you going to find a better tech job at this time? Amazon, FB, Salesforce? If I were you, stay put and bite your bullets until job market gets better. A package will only give you a few months then it will run dry.
Why would anyone want to stay at such a toxic place? Would love to get a package and leave
