Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

On-call- Working without pay?!!!

I’ve heard some departments are being forced to be on call and not getting paid for those days? Onshore only. I’m pretty sure this is going to get reported to the labor board if they keep this up. They should be careful.

@e4 well when being on call and you don’t get paid anything unless you get a call, but you’re required to be ready to work at all times over the weekend-seems unethical and has been reported to state and federal labor boards.
No one in the PH is required to be on call bc they’re protected from this cr-p by their governing laws. Another stick it to the onshore teams

@OP Are you referring to the PRN positions? That’s been going on for quite a while and the PRN employees agreed to the terms. Onshore is for sure getting the cr-p end of the deal, but PRN is standard practice.
