I think we are all left wondering if there is any future at GF? Personally, I feel strongly in the US/DRS/SGP there is no future. In the US, folks should stick around until mid-March 2023, get their AIP bonus and then leave. The future is very clear, the company will outsource all jobs in the fab sites to low-cost geos over time and they will continue to layoff non-fab/lab workers. Take your 2023 AIP bonus and leave which is exactly what I plan to do. The writing is on the wall ........

Are you living in an alternate dimension? That’s not how Globalfoundries works or has ever worked. I think we need to be honest here about Globalfoundries true business model and work environment. How things really work at Globalfoundries not the fake facades they have to put out there for legal and PR reasons.
It is very clear working hard, achieving and striving for various goals, etc. - all the normal logical career advancement activities at any other company do not apply at Globalfoundries.
At Globalfoundries the employees are treated like cattle. They are trying to get as much out of us as possible. Blood from a stone. They want you to work hard and strive and reach for the brass ring. They want to get the absolute most out of you as possible! (Which makes sense) BUT make no mistake about it; Globalfoundries has no intention of rewarding such efforts. They will lie and fake smile and assure you they will reward such efforts. BUT let’s be honest, that is not how things really work at Globalfoundries.
I feel like this is a discussion we have been dancing around for a long time and we never acknowledge the real true reality of career growth and development at Globalfoundries. It’s not tied to work, discipline and achievements but rather time at company and who you are friends with.
There is a future at GF, where those that work hard become prosperous, but won’t include internet whiners.
