What people don't seem to be getting is that Salesforce is a publicly traded company.
Citrix (or CSG) no longer is.
CSG don't have to announce anything publicly or share any figures. They are accountable to no-one except their owners.
This is what it used to be like in Citrix. An email and then a few minutes wait to see if you got the golden ticket.
With CSG we have been MONTHS waiting with a lot of backstabbing going on.
I feel bad for those people - even big companies like Salesforce are run by id--ts. They may be in shock, but at least it's a clean break, unlike some places.
