Replace the IVR. Get rid of the people that built the IVR because customers can't get through it and it goes to vendor agent. The vendor team su-ks and can't answer customer questions.

Getting rid of the useful id--ts. In management. They get rid of knowledge and keep the trash yes bi--hes that got us in this mess to start .
PSO is useless. The vendors and the people on the Verizon side who manage them. Suzy Nortons org needs to be absolutely wiped they are part of the problem and reason why vendors are so useless. Vendors hang up on customers. They extend chats. They lie to customers. They don’t resolve issues and there has been many cases where they defraud Verizon and customers. But as long as metrics look decent then Suzy’s org does not care. Fire them and hire internal again.

Bring phone people back. There are so many incompetent people in positions that don’t know anything about the industry. How does a board member and CEO of PayPal know how to run a phone company. When big red was committed to customers, employees and doing the right thing culture was so different.
Customers want to talk to someone live, who speaks fluent English, want a reliable product and know that if there are issues with service it will be resolved quickly.
That’s pretty simple to do and if they want to be the best in the industry then VZ needs to get back to the basics.
Verizon used to be America's best network, Verizon used have the Best internet (FiOS) - then we sold it then overpaid for it when we bought it back. Customers used to pay a premium for Verizon's excellent service. Now the execs want to drive these calls to frustrating AI. The company wants "lots" of customers/subscribers that pay Low dirt cheap prices which will not help the company's profit, all it will do is shrink our profit margins and over saturate our network. I know some people did not like Hans but he made the customers feel good, he made the employees feel good, he created a positive electrified environment. Now what we have is the opposite.

Go back to where Wireless ran their side of the business and Wireline ran their side of the business. That would be a good start. If you have been here long enough you know what I mean.

@OP They should hire Dr Evil as my boss. I think he’d be less toxic and more pleasant than the characters they’ve been rotating into this position. He probably has a better grasp of cellular network design and optimization. Admittedly the bar has been set pretty low.
Stop rotating managers just for the sake of "outside the box ideas". New manager comes in and implements ideas that were already proven to be ineffective. These creates unnecessary stress to the team. This is like hiring a RE specialist for a SPE manager opening, just to see if there are outside the box ideas that have not been tried yet. Stupid!

Remove one layer of Vice Presidents and 2 director layers to reduce bureaucracy, Then establish a meritocracy to become telecom aristocracy.
Remove the middle management. We have way too many managers doing basically nothing. Flat org and give promotions to IC by money. No one wants to be promoted to be another people’s manager.
Change back to some semblance of a results based meritocracy vs the relationship and optics based cess pool culture.
