I left a little more than half a year ago. I'm not saying that I regret it, but I'm not much better off in my new company than I was here. I am interested in whether anything changed for the better in the meantime?

It used to be that just middle managers were incompetent but the Director and VP levels were still ok for the most part, you just had to wait for 6 months or so for the middle managers to recycle if you had a bad one.
The grass may seem greener on the other side but rarely ever is. Things are actually getting better, more focused driven work and more major projects being announced internally. Too bad you left. Management is like the weather, wait a while, it will change.....
