Reading the US house oversight committee documents on from Exxon, shell and chevron shows how completely out of touch with reality bp was when setting this path. Great emails between the GOM RP and McKinsey too, well worth a few minutes.
Laurel and Hardy, or BL and MC, have destroyed more shareholder value over their careers than SBF at FTX. When you consider their asset write-offs and underperformance in share value, the value destruction is mind boggling. After hearing from the Chairman, who ran his company into the ground, I can see why they keep them - to make is awful track-record look good. Amazing.
