Looks like Voyix is rolling out a skills assessment starting Jun 16. They emphasize this is not a test, yet it's conducted through HackerRank which is described as "the market-leading coding test and interview solution for hiring developers".

This was pitched to the ‘Talent Enablement’ team, back when it was still one company and Patrice was head of HR.
It was a joke of a pitch. They kept saying how great it would be to have a skills profile for everyone based on a personality test that takes seven minutes.
We were all supposed to come back the next day with our thoughts on the presentation, and everyone was on board except me. I was the only one who did any research on the subject, and I even spoke with an employment lawyer about it. I found out that several companies that had tried this had been sued for discrimination. Some of these tests can ‘inadvertently’ give neurodivergent employees lower scores, which is illegal.
I brought my research to the team and the leader in charge, and one of her minions promptly shut me down.
The only reason they passed on the skills assessment is that they balked at the price tag.
Latest anthropic is offline. We operate AI like the wild west with no real controls or training. Now take this assessment which is the same test for developers as it is non-developers. In the Q&A note they don’t directly say you wont lose your job its just an assessment never needed before. How about meaningful NCRU training and ways of working over this BS Meter
Lotta of the new people hired in the past couple years can’t tie their shoes, when the split happen Atleos took the most skilled, Voyix got the less skilled, in the services department many can’t hardly speak, read or write in English (North America)
Can’t imagine the results the assessment exposes, then again, they may cheat?
Just lay people off. Why waste money on this? Skills, aptitude, and experience clearly haven’t mattered to this point.
This is an interview to find out if you get to keep your job.
wouldn’t it be nice if there was a test for jim kelly and his cronies on the leadership team
@a4 yep, this is for current Voyix technology employees. Feels like calibration for layoffs.
i assume this is for already employed people? Don’t believe it’s only a test bs
