Find something smaller and regional. Something where you might actually see a decision-making boss and be able to speak to them face-to-face once in a while.
It’s a nice change.
@ax the pay actually is decent at dell the issue is skills and credentials are not recognized/rewarded its all about who likes and who doesn't like you
There's actually news article on what tech workers chose to do. Maybe they are rolling in all that office tech $ and can live out their dreams.
One makes felt hats.
One sings in a tinfoil-cardboard home phone booth.
Another shucks oysters

When leaving Dell, a friend took a complete different tack. Got an advanced degree in unrelated field, left, and hasn’t looked back.
Don’t assume your next job has to be tech
OP - I’m sure you’ve considered this. Don’t quit until you have a job offer in hand with a firm start date. (Metaphorically speaking of course. It will be email)
Best of luck to you.
Dell is a Fcking Disaster!! Led by imbeciles who have no idea what they're doing.
Dell is losing SO many good people right now and not bc of WFR. People are fleeing in droves and the poor management are only allowed to hire inexperienced immature reps from SB vs a lateral move by another rep or promotion within the segment/team. It’s 100% a recipe for disaster and losing customers. SAD bc a LOT of people really used to like their jobs.
if you are in sales, I have seen some cushy landings with the channel partner community. plus you get to make a lot more.
see ya, don't let the door hit you in the azz on the way out. Nobody is going to miss you.
@OP any direction away from Dell is a good direction.
