Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

New updated report card?

I am a first time visitor and I read all of the posts. The one I liked the most was the report card. I wanted to write one and see what y’all think and how things have gotten better or worse.

National sales/ This one is my team so I would rate an A but our marketing toolbox is horrible and we didn’t hit every target so B.

Local sales/ this one is the same as above. I have lots of friends there so I know.

Marketing/ this one is horrible. F-

Safety- I don’t know that much about these gentlemen so B. I haven’t heard great things and haven’t heard bad things.

Legal: I don’t know much about them either but because they shut their eyes to everything I read below that they coulda shoulda stopped, I will give them a D

Crisis business team/ these gentlemen get an A++ . They send us informational teports that I give my customers and they love it and they figure out how to get them out orders no matter what is going on out there. They also called me once when there was a g-n fight near me to make sure I was safe. If these gentlemen are part of the safety org, then A plus for them. Bless all y’all for what you do.

HR- I have friends here too and I would have given them a B but the cheating to bring the wrong people to our company and that atrocious hire gives them a D. They shoulda known better.

Security/ they have to change this yesterday. How could y’all think the gentleman was the right hire. Y’all are exposing us to danger.

IT: these gentleman get a D. Their apps and tools are easy to use but they go down all of the time.

Payroll- they have a new way to pay us for our wins and never had any problems with them. B

Out drivers: they rock it. They make it happen. A+

@w6 the Convurr site is very cumbersome and the expense report is a dumpster fire. The 70 dollars a day on food is a joke. Places we travel and airport food are expensive so I pay out of pocket too many times.

Here’s one. The travel managers get a C- group. I traveled for work for the first time last year and the booking and expenses were too hard. I traveled twice when I was with my first job and it was easy and fast. Everyone in my office agrees that their tools are a .

The crisis center sent me a text today and a call to tell me about a tornado. I was outside with my kids and my daughter’s birthday when they hit me up. They gave me time to get my a-s Inside with the kids & food & presents. A huge a-s tree limb fell right where we were all eating outside after we came in. I remembered reading about them on this layoffs page and came on to say that the A plus that you gave them is not good enough. They saved my kids birthday and maybe saved us from getting hurt or worse. They deserve a A plus plus plus plus . Thank you crisis center!

@h5 that is why you don’t report sh-t to security or ethics. Or compliance or what ever the fu-k they are called. They should have an outside investigation done on everything that happened.

@af I know the ethics associate and he is not a bright man. Nor is he an ethical guy. He is a puppet that does what he is told. He should have come unglued at all of the bullsh-t that happened and instead, he was part of the cover-up. I was sick about it. The name is compliance and ethics is his responsibility. He did not do anything about the lack of compliance to the hiring process nor the unethical direction that our EVP told us to do. It still makes me feel icky.

You forgot the most important jobs in the company. I am one of a few chefs here and we bring happiness and more money for us foods with our creative dishes. I would give ourselves an A. The fu---d up groups that got the Fs were correct. And there are leads of those groups that should be fired.

Is there a lower grade for marketing than F. If so, most of us in sales would use it.

Coms is communications. They write all of the emails that tell us what is going on. Crisis & business continuity helps move us through hard times and the dangers and operations crisis. They really are rock stars. We work with them often. I think they both deserve an A plus. I can’t disagree with the original scores. It’s no secret who is sh-----g the bed.

From what I found, ethics is part of the legal organization. I do have a question. What is coms and what is crisis business? I don’t think I have heard of them before.

You were spot on the grades. You asked and I am answering. You forgot the coms, ethics, and facilities and maintenance gang. I would give coms a A cuz I like the dish and updates. I think ethics needs an overhaul too F. They sat on the sidelines on all of the corrupt sh-t happening inside. It is their job not legal, to call out when sh-t ain’t right no matter who is doing it. I would never call the ethics line cuz they showed they will just do the political thing and let illegal sh-t happen and not do what is right. Where I work, I would give facilities a C.
