Well, the reality of its price and ROI. It's going to be so much fun to sit here and watch as the price tag balloons to ten times what it would have cost to keep the people who were laid of to be replaced by it. And then to watch them scramble to get the same quality of people back. I'm seated.

but the people are easily replaced at a more company friendly wage,so even if this were true its a non issue
@br seriously....just do a google search. It's not that hard...even for a Dell azzkisser.
@bx MD is well aware that AI stands for Actual Indians as that's where he's sending most if not all of our jobs.
@OP 😂 Haha! CEOs like MD don't even know what AI stands for.
@OP They are? Can you share the article?
Like dot.com, this bubble will burst. It’s just a matter of when. If we are in the peak of it, give it two years. That’s the normal cycle. I think Dell already knows this as it is shifting focus to PC’s and Storage again.
yep, CEO's are finding out that this is going to cost them a ton. They were already complaining about their cloud costs, now they have this expense on top of that. We have dev's using up all their tokens on the first day of the month and then cannot get new tokens until the beginning of the next month. AI is akin to a crack dealer. I'll give you some free stuff to hook you in and then when you're hooked, you're done. Same with AI. Look what just happened with Github Copilot this past week. This is going to be interesting. Does this mean even more layoffs to pay the costs or do companies cut back on only essential use of AI to limit costs.
