Thread regarding Intuit Inc. layoffs

All that loyalty meant nothing

They tossed out long term employees like garbage. Decades of service gone just like that. Loyalty doesn't count for anything here anymore. They cut the people who actually know how things work. Now all that knowledge is walking out the door. Management only cares about slashing costs, not about who they're losing. It's disgusting.

@k1 Nope, I was told there would be by my manager and m2 and that hr would reach out. I didn't hear anything from hr until I received the exit paperwork the day after detailing cobra and how to return the computer. So i called hr connect who stated they showed nothing for a package and then gave me the email to the hr legal group. Bogus term that is inconsistent with proof of performance and they didn't even seek a release of claim? I find that interesting.

Is the 15% per review cycle with DNME status starting this July? Thinking of just doing the bare minimum will I decide the next step then.

It really is disgusting. I just got hit under the fuse of performance but I've been ranked in the top 10 in the stack ranking for the entire fiscal year through May. Yet the bottom 25% keep their job, guess their payroll is less. But, I'm also topping out on pay for my role, they're shaving from the top. I also brought to light many things that were working well, guess they didn't like that.

A good colleague of mine was laid off a week after his 25th service anniversary.
