Anybody know why they're bringing store employees in 2 hours early for a kickoff??

It is a meeting to pretend that everything is ok before they sell off the majority of corporate owned stores. There will be discussion of AI with no tangible value and you will hear word salad about how we are going to do great things but there will be no plan or clarity on how to accomplish those things. This will also serve as a photo op for "leaders" to show their field presence on LinkedIn. Nothing will change. Go V Teamers!!
there was a kickoff call today?
kick-off or kick-out?
I would go to about you and type “attendance policy” the 2026 retail attendance policy should pop up. If it’s the same as last year they cannot force you to go in for that if it is your day off OR if you are scheduled for a closing shift. They can ask you but they cannot make it required. The only ones they can make it mandatory for are reps scheduled to open. Leaders know retail reps don’t know that and they give you the false impression that they can force you to go in on your day off or go in early and then come back in later that day to close and they cannot. I’d love for a rep to throw the attendance policy in their face haha
