Management is concerned only with the stockholder. Sc--w the customers. This is why Bill treated the town hall like a shareholder meeting. He thinks that everyone believes that the only important thing is the stock price.

I’ve been here over 30 years. The amount of times we’ve had a new leader tell us to go back to basics is staggering. It’s the easiest thing a leader can do. Hey guys, let’s start over and get back to basics. Let’s stop all that innovation that I wasn’t a part of starting and just go back… to… basics….

Brilliant leadership.

Oh here we are and here we are and here we go
All aboard and we're hitting the road
Here we go, rockin' all over the world
Ah giddy-up and giddy-up and get away
We're going crazy and we're going today
Here we go, rockin' all over the world

thats quite funny...for...someone like me.......

It is a never-ending suite of buzz words. These VPs need just enough film flam to ride along for about three to four years; They'll move on to their next hoax by then...

Really, challenge the status quo?! We’ve had how many leaders in the past several years and it’s only went from bad to worse to horrifying. Incompetence cannot even begin to describe the ESC management team. I have totally given up and working to find a way out after giving it a shot now for 5 years.

The whole company is tired of outsiders and leadership that uses a lot of double speak, buzz words and non stop babbling by executive leadership who do very little to effect change, increase resources or you know sustain success at 3M. You know what would challenge the status quo, giving people resources to do their actual jobs(more body's and help instead of refusing to replace people that leave), grow the business, you know grow actual 3M sales, instead of just talk about it and follow through on launching new products. Instead we stall out focused on endless safety initiatives that say the same stuff, over and over again, ethics classes that only apply to the working minions, and fixing product lines with literal ductape, cardboard and leaks with short time fixes. It's classic beatings will continue until morale improves. Executive Management never sacrifices anything at 3M, all they do is tout catch phrases and useless cr-p. Put up or shut up, all your doing is hanging on, or latching on to split up the company and cash in your options and leave with a bag.

The status quo is mechanical layoffs and no new ideas.

We should challenge that.
