My way is: do your job honestly, invest in yourself by taking care of your body and mind, increase your knowledge and stay alert for whatever opportunity that might present itself whether at SAP pr outside.
@jw what is wrong with wanting more money? At SAP, if you support your managers get more exposure, they give you a better WHAT and HOW rating which gives you more money. If you actually do work that will help the SAP strategy but not your manager, then your manager will give you only average scores. This is how it's always been at SAP. So su-k it up and help your manager. That's all you need to do to thrive at SAP. Who cares if customers or shareholders get what they want. Only your manager matters at SAP. So treat them like they're the most important person and everything will be fine.
@OP we are not all in this together. It is a class war. The rich (executives) at SAP want more money and the poor (non management T levels) want to be paid fairly. Work is predominantly done by the poor and not the rich. But decisions are predominantly made by the rich without consulting the poor. The supervisory board does exactly what the executives ask them to do without much resistance. And the works council is filled with career politicians who get elected every time. If we organize, it will get really hard for the rich. That is why they create a culture war and the layoff fear to get us to fight with each other. So we cannot organize. As long as we don't put the culture war aside, we will never be in this together.

@hb say what you want but they are right. The only people allowed in Germany should be Europeans, our allies and real refugees. Indians are not welcome and we'll find ways to lay the off.
None of these problems would exist if we didn't import Indians and other immigrants by the droves. By getting rid of them, we would be able to avoid layoffs for us Europeans. The people at the top aren't the problem. It's the trans lovers and immigrant lovers that are.
