@rb Ge-z, the stock dropped yesterday and it's still dropping today.What's going on ? Did the market analysts finally realize that pumping up the IBM stock by using all the wonderful buzzwords and insisting on fake Quantum chip deadlines is pointless if there is nothing to back these things up? Maybe someone in the Trump administration will come to their senses too. After all, a billion dollars is a lot of $$$$.
With some cash paying around, invest in Intel, Advanced Micro devices, Nvidia brings more profits than IBM. Those are the big boys in AI space.

I really wish Polymarket would start taking bets on whether IBM will actually be selling a quantum computer by 2030 like Arvind says. I'd bet my entire life savings on "no" and come 2030 I'd be richer than Arvind.

So Alvind and the Pipmunks over-promise (lie) about the next "big thing" which causes stock prices to bump up a little, then once the market finds out that its all vaporware, the price will fall once again, and he will have to find new ways to make money. Maybe this year in addition to the RAs with no severance (PIPs) he'll tell us all we're not getting raises and instead we'll get a 1 year membership to the jelly of the month club.
