Thread regarding Cengage layoffs

Why delete the post discussing National Geographic?

Interested in why that one was yanked. Is it because someone said the streets were saying that Cengage was dumping NatGeo after the IPO?

NGL is not being dumped, the adult and college division was recently absorbed by the Higher Ed team, K12 remains independent. Cengage as a company however is not what it used to be even a few years ago. They are shaving off too many people in product development, customer support, and marketing areas to fully support their sales teams. I'm sure thing will smooth out as time goes on but internally, it's rough right now.

Cengage needs to lure KC back by any means neccesary to lead the IPO.

Maybe I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. But I noticed that if you put initials or names (even with asterisks) in the title, the post gets deleted.

Maybe because ML "has decided to leave Cengage to pursue the next step in his career as a CEO" and NK will take over. "This is a deliberate decision grounded in continuity, experience and confidence in our leadership team."

Confidence?!
