When inflation is so high and raises are zero to nothing what does it matter how you are assessed?

It's strictly fear based instead of reward based "motivation." Staying off NSI & NI lists are the new raise.
Agree. Why expend any effort on a PDS / KOs for a zero or 1% raise. So much for this meritocracy BS.
If they don’t do assessments and they terminate you, it gives you a possible legal avenue for challenging it, if you decide to go that route.
By documenting your performance (accurately or inaccurately), they’re providing themselves with an extra layer of legal cover.
