Zero or paltry raises for employees while executives gorge themselves and continually inflate their compensation year over year.

But their hands are tied. I mean the benchmarking is to blame! Executives are powerless against the benchmarking! They can’t pay us more because of the benchmarking! And they HAVE to pay themselves more because of the benchmarking. Nothing to see here. It is all totally justifiable.
Expect raises to once again be pathetic to zero. They will reward themselves but benchmark us.
@OP how are you finding out what the raises are this early? Or is this just a guess? Of course I'm fully expecting more of the same- the select few get decent raises and the rest fall under the HR math formula of no raises
This is what I call meritocracy.
Yup I finally got a raise after 3 years of nothing. a measly 1.5 % and the manager said I should be proud of it. I am probably getting piped this year so it does not matter.
