@fd I’d use ai to confirm initial direction. The unemployment office will let you know if you applied in the incorrect state.

You mentioned you are a remote worker and specifically called out MI. You might want to consider checking the state you live in if it isn’t MI. You do pay state taxes. Ie: CA Ford employee should file a claim in the state of Ca. I’d use AI to confirm.
