My question is do the health benefits of eating dark chocolate outweigh consuming lead and cadmium?

That's like asking if having a little Drano in your chicken soup outweighs the benefit of getting over your cold. It wasn't that helpful in the first place, and if you've gone a week without food, you're thinking about risking it, and your wife has been adding it for years while you've been none the wiser. Some day it'll show up as dementia or cancer.
Management is always telling me to "get the lead out" to get me to work faster. It sounds like management needs to follow their own advice, but in a more literal way.
