Dan and other leaders have mentioned closing locations and that locations shouldn't matter for hires but when will we see that in job postings?

@ct oh that one made me lose marbles. the fluff presentation of "well, here's what's great about these offices closing........ ....... ....." meanwhile in any other state... ... ...
Facts I’m not moving to Omaha to become an engineer
@ct what a typical shoehead defending answer
It's a fundamental lie that location does not matter. They can claim all they want otherwise, but in reality 90% of all jobs will be in a hub location. GTS will discriminate to Dallas only. Finance is BR and Lake Mary.
Lies! I have never met one person who said they asked to be in the office working face to face. The majority said they could understand maybe going for extra special meetings, but definitely not three days a week. My department cannot figure who actually asked. Maybe just HR? With gas prices going higher and higher leadership should show they actually care about the employees (IKR) and lower to one day a week until the gas prices improve.
You asked and we listened! Vteamers told us they love to work face to face which is why we rolled out our successful 3 days in the office policy 5 years after Covid. We run to a crisis and a coherent RTO strategy was no different! Our lack of enforcement, as well as closing locations entirely to let some wfh while others are in office for the same jobs, makes me so proud to be in HR leading this great company. I can’t wait til our next photo shoots. Watch this space, we’re just getting started! Toodles!
Don’t expect any coherent location strategy for quite some time
You won’t. One- you’re hoping for new roles to open? Hah. 2. They didn’t say locations shouldn’t matter.
Dan is thinking about his remote for his TV. He left in the fridge when he reached for a bottle of rose water.
