It won't change anything, and there will still be the associates who still want to do everything by the book in hopes that ELT will spare them. But, what if June 1st the home office was damn near empty and everyone either called out sick or WAH for some emergency reason. Imagine the signal it would send to those d-mb bags of sh!+ that sit in the corner offices. I'm sure we would all be collectively punished or lectured, but we outnumber them. They can't fire all of us, and they need us more than we need them. The 80/20 rule. 80% of the GPs and directors could take a month off and nobody would notice. 20% of home office associates who actually do the work could walk out that door and the whole thing grinds to a hault and would make a media headline. So glad to be driving 4 days a week during and energy crisis, I thought this company was all about the environment and saving the planet?

@w2 Oh no! But what about my "free" breakfast of donuts bagels and powdered eggs??? Stuff like that always ki-ls me when people think this place is paying for stuff out a partners own personal bank account. It comes from the same place as our paychecks and is used for photo ops to show how much they "care" about us on linkedin.
If only all of home office would call in June 1, including HBA in solidarity of in office workers. Wish in one hand, sh-t in the other, see which one fills up first. P@@P

Those who going to the home office June 1st should wear black to mourn the Edward Jones that is no longer the same company. ELT should change the name out of respect for the founders of the company and the Managing Parters before PP that led a mighty firm with a grand history and culture. Any thoughts on new names?
@a4 this isnt the 1980s anymore, boomer. Bootlicking ELT and sitting in a cube farm for 8hrs a day is an outdated way of working. You will probably bob your head up and down in agreement when you are told to train your indian replacement.
@a4 yes indeed. Also agree with the high gas prices and well why not have more flexibiliy? And those that work remote and travel in to get reimbursed, why not local folks get some compensation on gasoline or charging stations?
